Have Faith in God

Hello! Happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Word Art Wednesday. This week we're focusing on a verse in the New Testament. Mark 11:22 says, "And Jesus answering, saith unto them, Have faith in God." What a concise and direct statement! It certainly fits so many different situations. Are you waiting on the Lord to answer a prayer, bring healing, or show you the direction He wants you to take? Have faith in God. He will answer in His timing. His answer may not always be what we were expecting or what we'd hoped for but it's always what's best for us. Such a seemingly simple statement, but sometimes, to our shame, it's so hard to wait and just have faith. For some reason, it's easier to trust the Lord for our eternal salvation than it is for the day to day events of our lives.

Due to some "technical difficulties" I made my own digi of this verse this week. {You can still get Karen's beautiful version on the Word Art Wednesday blog.} I printed it on white cardstock and die cut it with a rectangular die. I pulled out my two-step stamps by The Ton and scattered flowers and leaves all around the verse. It was so quick and easy. I really enjoy this set...I need to use it more.

I scattered marshmallow and light green sequins around the card and topped them with dots of silver Stickles. I also used silver Stickles on the centers of the blue and purple flowers. The pink flowers were given a coat of clear Wink of Stella. I wish you could see all the shimmer this card has in real life. The image panel was mounted on lavender cardstock and then added to the front of a white A2 card base.

I'm entering this card in the following challeges:
Crop Stop Challenge #18 - Anything Goes using something from the Crop Stop store (I'm using Memento inks and silver Stickles)
Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes

I've link the products I've used below using affiliate links where possible (I earn a small commission at no cost to you when you shop using these links).
